we met up with some friends for brunch on the seattle side of the water this weekend, which made for such a wonderful treat. this couple is also from florida, not far from where we grew up so getting the chance to chat with them is always really special. we’ve started a bit of a tradition where we take turns ferrying back and forth and showing each other new restaurants on each side. when we visit seattle, they pick a spot and when they come over to kitsap we take them somewhere we like. following brunch we walked through the pike place market and stopped at bar mixato before boarding our ferry.
starbucks serving cocktails is completely genius, and I’ll just leave it at that.
