we’ve been “busy” (in the best way) this weekend, recovering from our turkey comas and transitioning out of our fall decor by decking the halls in preparation for family visiting next week.
we’re still slowly working on everything, but I’ve got our flocked wreath and garland up in the living and dining areas. i was so excited to deck out our mantle this year after j shiplap-ed the space behind our fireplace. we have a mini tree in the office, which i kind of think of as our staging area. it’s behind the baby gate that tavi-the-destroyer can’t get to, so it’s a safe spot for all my little ornaments and our gifts i don’t want chewed up. (so…like all of them.)
we’re taking it slow and enjoying lots of coffee and cocoa while we work on the tree and the remaining odds and ends.
oh yeah. and the gators curb stomped the seminoles this weekend, which marks the last football game of the season i truly care about. christmas come early!! #chompchomp
