last week i returned home on business, for a quick trip to visit the fam and assist with some food truck events occurring around 4th of july! it was great to see everyone, even though i haven't been gone terribly long. i was able to squeeze in a visit at the paper- saying "hi" to my ex-bosses and coworkers (and to meet new baby penelope!)
it was a busy week but i was also fortunate enough to make the rounds at some of my favorite locations - clearwater beach, international plaza for dinner and a cucumber basil gimlet at brio, crate and barrel, and some running around downtown at channelside and harbor island for the food truck events. we also squeezed in a quick birthday celebration for the little bro and i since we're july babies. see ya soon ttown!
